Welcome to BONET! Please read these Terms carefully before using our platform. By using BONET, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BONET ("Service"), including our mobile application and website at www.bonet1620.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and BONET. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
BONET is a video-sharing social media platform designed for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Our Service allows users to:
- Create, upload, and share short-form video content
- Discover and watch videos in various sign languages
- Interact with other users through likes, comments, and messages
- Participate in live streaming
- Send and receive virtual gifts
- Connect with the global Deaf community
3. Eligibility
Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use BONET.
By using our Service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 13 years of age
- If you are under 18, you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
- Your account has not been previously terminated by us
4. Account Registration
To access certain features of our Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

5. User Content
5.1 Your Content
"User Content" refers to any videos, images, text, comments, or other materials that you upload, post, or transmit through our Service.
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting User Content, you grant BONET a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
5.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to your User Content
- Your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
- Your User Content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines
- You have obtained consent from any individuals appearing in your videos
5.3 Content Removal
We may remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or for any other reason at our discretion, without prior notice.
6. Community Guidelines
Prohibited Content and Behavior:
You agree NOT to post, upload, or share content that:
- Illegal Content: Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Harmful Content: Promotes violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
- Harassment: Bullies, threatens, or harasses others
- Hate Speech: Attacks individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
- Sexual Content: Contains pornography or sexually explicit material
- Minor Safety: Exploits or endangers minors in any way
- Misinformation: Spreads dangerous false information
- Spam: Contains unsolicited advertising or promotional content
- Impersonation: Misrepresents your identity or affiliation
- Intellectual Property: Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights
- Privacy Violations: Shares others' private information without consent
- Malware: Contains viruses or other harmful code
- Scraping/Automation: Uses bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service
Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
The BONET name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of BONET. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by BONET and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Copyright Infringement (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on our Service without authorization, please send a DMCA takedown notice to:

Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material to be removed with sufficient information to locate it
- Your contact information (address, telephone, email)

- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
8. Virtual Items and Purchases
8.1 In-App Purchases
Our Service may offer virtual items, gifts, coins, or premium features for purchase. All purchases are:
- Processed through Google Play or Apple App Store
- Subject to their respective terms and refund policies
- Final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law
8.2 Virtual Currency and Gifts
Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency, goods, or services. We reserve the right to modify pricing, availability, or features of virtual items at any time without notice. Upon account termination, all virtual items are forfeited.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
- Warranties that the Service or servers are free of viruses or harmful components
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BONET, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
- Service interruption, computer damage, or system failure
- Cost of substitute services
- Personal injury or property damage
- Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any content posted by users or third parties
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BONET and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Any dispute between you and another user
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation:
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of Community Guidelines
- Fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
- Extended periods of inactivity
- At our sole discretion for any or no reason
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- All licenses granted to you will terminate
- We may delete your account and all associated data
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability)
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Guatemala, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal Resolution: You agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
- Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
13.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. All claims must be brought in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
14. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, labor disputes, internet failures, or third-party service outages.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and BONET regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
15.5 Notices
We may provide notices to you via email, in-app notification, or by posting on the Service. You agree that electronic notices satisfy any legal communication requirements.
